Choosing the right therapist is very important and I appreciate your visit here.  The decision to start therapy is a courageous first step towards your journey of understanding and healing.  I aim to provide support to anyone that chooses to take that journey in an empathic, reflective and non-judgmental approach.  Life presents itself with many challenges at different stages of every persons life and these challenges can cause feelings of imbalance or feeling “stuck.”  I have worked with people struggling with anxiety, depression, fear, trauma, PTSD, and life’s transitions.  I am also bilingual and have many years of experience providing services in Spanish.

I have worked with clients in modalities that work best for them and mostly have experience in existential-humanistic psychology, relational/attachment based psychotherapy and somatic psychotherapy. I have a passion for this work and am continuously seeking training opportunities. I am an advocate of cultural diversity and sensitivity and have experience working with minorities, women and life transitions, people of different backgrounds, LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer).

I’m affiliated with the PRIDE Committee as well as the Latino Collaborative in San Mateo County and The Psychotherapist Association for Gender & Sexual Diversity. I’m also endorsed by UCSF as a Reflective Supervisor as well as being endorsed by The Child Trauma Research Program as a Child-Parent Psychotherapist.

I am a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist in California (LMFT 89070).  I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University and have over 10-years experience providing therapeutic services to people of all ages and stages in life.  I also have a Masters in Spanish and taught middle and high school students as well as university students.

I hope you continue your search for your authentic self.  Contact me for more information or to schedule a free 20 minute consultation. I look forward to speaking with you.
